Titel: The Thing
Bericht door: Selinde op 2 november 2008, 17:17:16
Oke dit is echt het kortste verhaaltje ever, namelijk 350 woorden ofzo. :P En het slaat nergens op. Maar toch ga ik hem lekker hier posten.  ;D

The Thing - written by Yfke. 8) Oeh dat klinkt hip.

It was way past midnight and the stars were glistening peacefully above the seemingly even more peaceful village. Adrianna ran her index finger up her skin to prevent an already molten snowdrop from gliding all the way down to her bare elbow. The touch of her finger caused the tiny blonde hairs on her arm to stand up even straighter in their vague attempt to keep her scarcely dressed body from freezing. She squinted her eyes and in the flickering light of a lamp-post a couple of yards away, she could see the snowfall become heavier.  The increasing cold sent a mild shiver down her spine and she glanced back at the house. Why did she have to leave without putting on a vest, a coat, anything? She couldn't go back into the house now, that's for sure.
Adrianna stood there, waiting – for what? She did not know. –  and thinking of earlier that evening. The now torn apart silk black dress had been draped gracefully around her beautifully shaped body. The bright red lipstick had made her look very attractive and the lace of the bra that had subtly peeked out of her dress had created some sort of wondrously enchanting air around her appearance. Had she known, back then, that the Thing would happen? Well, now that she thought of it, she had certainly felt a strange kind of tenseness while lying there, waiting for him. Like something was about to happen. So perhaps she had known, or at least that the possibility had existed. But no, she could not have expected that the Thing would eventually be this tempting.
A car drove by. In the glow of its headlights, Adrianna glanced at her watch. 5:30 AM. It was time to leave, they would arrive soon. She took a last look at the house and shivered. He was still in there. Was she supposed to get him out of there? Adrianna didn't really care. She got up and started walking away into the dead of the night, still holding the gun in her now almost frozen hand.
